12 Days of Giving Back ~ Day 9

Happy Hump Day! Today's gift that gives back is a little different but still just as amazing and special! One of my favorite companies/ humanitarian group/ everything awesome is Invisible Children. Today is the last day in their Frontline tour and we are so close to the $2 Million goal. Currently $1,437,970 has been raised and we are so close to changing the world and saving even more lives in Central Africa.

If you don't know about Invisible Children, they are a movement dedicated to ending Africa's longest running war in Central Africa. For over 25 years children have been abducted and forced to fight in a war that is not theirs. Brainwashing, rape, torture and death have all been an everyday occurrence of their lives. Together millions have come together and said that this is not okay and we will not stand for this. Joseph Kony, the leader of the LRA (Lords Resistance Army) needs to be captured and held accounted for his actions.

Today the gift that keeps on giving is donating a small amount of money in a loved ones name to help end this war and to change the lives of our friends and family in Central Africa. My goal is to raise at least $34 by the end of the day. So even donating a dollar could make a difference would be an amazing gift to say that you gave to a stranger in another continent!

Invisible Children's personal Kiwi (from New Zealand if you didn't know what a Kiwi is) has locked himself in a cage for the past week until $2 Million is raised! Be a part of this hilarious revolution and Free Timmy from this cage.

You can make a difference, tell your friends, family, twitter followers etc. and Lets end this war and raise $2 Million! Check out Invisible Children's website for more info on all of this!

Thanks so much for all your support, I love getting to hear from all of you and I hope that this gift will be a little one you could give to someone new!

XOXO
